I remembered the first time I saw 8-man rowing, it gave me a peaceful feeling. A boat rowed by eight members floated above the water with one synchronized movement. I like the way they rowed the boat. I like to see the boat is so closed to the water. It looked like they were flying. It's just a beautiful sport.
I have thought movie “Fly Away Home” when I read your migrate birds. The movie is about a teenager girl raising a bunch of Canadian geese. When autumn comes, the teenager girl has to lead geese fly to south. The scenery in the movie is beautiful ROY. The theme song “10,000 Miles” (by Mary Chapin Carpenter) is one of my favorites. I have attended her live concert once. When she sang that song (without any music), I just have to cry. I like to listen the song in the evening, and let my imaginations run. I am also thinking John Grisham’s “Pelican Brief”. If my memory is right, it also related to migrated birds.
Thanks for your oil painting in advance, although I haven't seen any other Auntie Chyong Yau's TV episodes. It must be a quite view in Mississippi Flyway. Hopefully I can see it one day by myself.
p.s. “10,000 Miles” is in Mary Chapin Carpenter's latest album – Party Doll and Other Favirotes. Website: http://www.sonymusic.com/labels/nashville/MCC/
Your Highness E.T. Princess:
I don't think I will be able to plant anything over the winter here. But I will expand my planting verities next spring. I'm glad you and Sleepless enjoy my cherry tomatoes that much. I sure do miss them.
I will come back to report more “Head of Charles”. Hope the weather will be good this year. We had a torrential rain one year and they had to cancel the event.
Both of you, take care!
