Antoine de Saint-Expuperty is one of my heros, not just because of "Little Prince", but also because of his pioneering work in aviation. Someday I'll fulfil my wish to read Little Prince in its original version - French. I remember a segment of a movie (name escapes me now) that touched on the love triangle between Lindberg, Ann, and Antoine, during aviation's pioneer days. Romantics tend to pioneer, and vice versa.
Another book that this reminds me of is Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. I love the Chinese translation of the name too - 天地一沙鷗!
BTW, to expand on "see the Universe in a grain of sand " thought - astronomers like to say we are all Star material - life is a result of a supernova in our solar system, and we are all made up of "Star Dust", carbon, hydrogen and oxygen compounds... doesn't it add to the romance of star-gazing on clear nights?
